We are thrilled to announce that Alliance Jack H. Skirball Middle School was recently named a 2024 California Distinguished School. This distinction was awarded to fewer than 300 middle and high schools across the state of California.

Schools are selected based on data reported through the 2023 Dashboard, with a focus on demonstrating excellence and growth in academic achievement and ensuring a positive school climate.

Our recognition is a reflection of our exemplary performance in English Language Arts (ELA) and Math growth, and a positive school climate. It is also a testament to our work in closing the achievement gap through providing accelerated academic growth for one or more historically underserved student groups.

I am so proud of our teachers and staff, as well as our incredible students and their families, for all the work that it took to earn this recognition. I am confident that we will continue to be recognized for our excellence in the coming years.
